Exchange Programs
On August 25th, at about 5:00, we are going to the airport to pick up my new brother. Federico, from outside Buenos Aires, Argentina, is going to be staying with my family for a year. He is leaving his friends, family, house, most of his stuff, to come and go to school here. Some of my friends say, "um...why is a random guy going to be living in your house?" Some say, "well, make sure he is hot." The rest say, "OMG THAT IS SO COOL." I think its pretty cool. A chance to live in another country, usually speaking another language for a year would be so valuable. But what do you think? Would you go?

I am TOTALLY with your friends who say "OMG THAT IS SO COOL." Because it totally is! That would be such an amazing experience. Although I'm not sure I personally would do it (I might study abroad in college, though), it would be amazing to have someone come stay with us.
HAVE FUN!
That is really really cool! Since I was really little I've always wanted to have exchange students or fresh air kids come up to lie with me.
This summer it finally happens for me. For a week these twin french girls are coming to stay with me.
Also, I would love to be the one that goes some where else. Even if I couldn't speak the language, I think that total immersion would be the BEST way to learn. Not to mention I really like meeting new people, so host families would be great.
Have an awesome time with Federico!! It would be awesome to have someone live with you for a whole year!!!
